Concept art development

Concept art development is an important aspect of the animation film making process. It involves the creation of visual materials that help to establish the look and feel of a particular project. Concept art can take many forms, including sketches, digital paintings, 3D models, and storyboards. In animation film making, concept art is used to help the development team create a cohesive and visually engaging world. For example, concept art can be used to establish the look of the characters, their clothing, and their environment. This helps the animation team create a consistent visual style that enhances the story and engages the audience.

Classical 2D animation

Classical 2D animation, also known as cel animation or hand-drawn animation, is a technique where each frame of the animation is created by hand, typically using paper and pencil. The animator creates a series of drawings, with each drawing showing a slight variation in movement or pose from the previous one. These drawings are then photographed or scanned into a digital format and played back at a high frame rate to create the illusion of movement.

Digital 2D animation

Digital 2D animation is a form of animation that involves creating 2D graphics and using computer software to animate them. It typically involves creating a series of drawings or images that are then digitally manipulated to create the illusion of movement. There are many software programs available for creating digital 2D animations, including Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony etc.

3D Asset creation

3D asset creation involves the process of creating 3D assets for a project that can be used for various purposes, such as animated films, video games, movies, virtual reality simulations, visual effects and more. Here are the various processes involved in creating 3D assets. a. backgrounds & props modelling b. character modelling c. texturing d. rigging & skinning.

3D Character Animation

3D character animation is the process of creating animated characters in a three-dimensional space using computer software and giving them believable moments. This process involves creating a virtual character, rigging it with a skeleton, and animating it by manipulating the skeleton and its associated controls. Keyframe animation and pose to pose animation are common process followed by animators.

Post-production

Post-production in animation is the process of finalizing an animated project after the animation and sound design have been completed. This process includes a variety of tasks that are essential for preparing the final product for distribution, such as editing, colour correction, sound mixing, and final rendering.
