Terms & Conditions
- Participants must be 16–35 years old and residing in India.
- Only one entry per participant is allowed.
- All submissions must be made before the deadline; late or incomplete entries will not be considered.
- AI-generated or plagiarized work will not be accepted.
- Shortlisted participants may be required to submit age proof for verification.
- Entries must comply with copyright and intellectual property laws.
- By submitting, participants grant the organizers the right to use, display, and promote the submitted work (with credit) across print and digital platforms.
- The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any entry that is offensive, violates rules, or does not meet contest standards.
- The jury’s decision will be final and binding.
- This contest is exclusively for external participants. All current students and employees of Toonz Animation Studio and Toonz Academy are ineligible to compete.
Learn More - Photography Contest – Disclaimer & Guidelines
1. Original Work Requirement
All entries must be original photographs created solely by the participant. Submissions found
to be plagiarized or created by someone else will be disqualified.
2. No Watermarks or Identifying Marks
Photographs must not contain watermarks, signatures, logos, brand names, or any other
identifying marks.
3. Limitations on Digital Editing
Only basic digital enhancements—such as minor adjustments to colour, contrast, exposure,
or sharpness—are permitted. Adding, removing, or altering objects within the image is strictly
prohibited.
4. Prohibited Content
Entries must not include infringing, defamatory, offensive, obscene, or otherwise unlawful
content. The organizer reserves the right to reject any entry deemed inappropriate.
5. High-Resolution Requirement / EXIF Data
Participants may be asked to submit high-resolution files and/or original EXIF data for
verification purposes. Failure to provide these when requested may result in disqualification.
6. Organizer Not Responsible for Entry Issues
The organizer is not responsible for lost, damaged, corrupted, or late submissions, regardless
of the cause.
7. Technical Failures Disclaimer
The organizer will not be liable for any technical malfunctions, including website errors, server
issues, internet failures, or disruptions that may affect submission.
8. Participation Cost
The contest is free to enter, and no registration fees will be charged. All costs related to
participating including photography equipment’s, travel, for the creation of the photographs
must be borne solely by the participant.
9. Acceptance of Rules
Submitting an entry to the contest shall be deemed full acceptance of all rules, guidelines,
and decisions made by the organizer.
10. Final Decision Authority
All decisions made by the organizer or judging panel are final and binding. No
correspondence regarding results will be entertained.
11. Use of Personal Data
Personal information collected (such as name and email) will be used solely for contest
administration, notifications, and publicity related to the contest by the Toonz group. Data will
not be shared with third parties without consent.
12. Data Rights of Participants
Participants will have the right to access, correct, or request the removal of their personal
data at any time by contacting the contest organizer.
13. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
Participant will ensure that they do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any individual
or institution.
14. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The contest and its rules will be governed by the laws of India and courts at Thiruvananthapuram will have jurisdiction. Any disputes will fall under the exclusive
jurisdiction of the courts in that Thiruvananthapuram.
