Graphics is a is the field related to computer controlled integration of texts, (still or moving images) graphics, drawings, audio and animations. The information or content in multimedia can be represented through digitally (audio, video and animation) in contrast to traditional media.
Motion graphics is a digital video output which contains pictures, words, sound and video. Motion graphics is an integration of animation and graphic design. This is a combination of different creative elements like typography, illustration, logos, shapes animation clips & video along with sound. They are then animated or moved in a desired way that tells a story.
Multimedia technology applies interactive computer elements such as text, pictures, video, graphics, animation and sound into a single form to deliver the message. Multimedia presentations may be viewed by person on stage, projected, transmitted, or played locally with a media player. It is also extensively used in, VR, AR & gaming segments.
What is a role of a graphics/motion graphics/multimedia artist?
The graphic designer is a specialist in creating visuals and solving problems associated with visual communication. The qualified graphic designers will have to create digital drawings, Layout, Typography, Lettering, Diagramming and Photography. Art has merged with science and this fantastic relationship has produced tremendous scope in graphic designing as a form of applied art. Pictures are the most effective means of communication and graphic design implies this wonderfully.
Print Designers develop the layout and production design of newspapers, magazines, corporate reports, journals and other publications. They also create the promotional displays; marketing brochures for services and products, packaging, design distinctive logos for businesses and products.

Coming to pay scale a beginner with no experience can start a career with a reputed firm for a salary of Rs 8000-12000/month.
